Collezione: SUMERIAN EMPIRE and BRONZE AGE 28mm PRINTED and DIGITAL

WARFARE IN SUMERIAN EMPIRE

The new Uppsala Miniatures series on the Bronze Age begins at the dawn of humanity, with the Sumerian Empire and all its city-states. We've also created sets for neighboring peoples — allies and enemies of the Sumerians. Thanks to our recent Kickstarter, we now offer hundreds of miniatures available for 15mm, 1/72, and of course, 28mm printing. Larger scales are available on request.

Various sets and instructions will be included to help you build armies from your favorite cities. In the meantime, feel free to request the full catalog by writing to uppsalaminiatures@gmail.com.

Following the Kickstarter dedicated to small scales (15mm and 1/72), all models will also be made available in those two formats.

IF YOU CHOOSE THE DIGITAL OPTION, YOU WILL RECEIVE DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS ONCE CHECKOUT IS COMPLETE.

Armies of Sumer – Guidelines for Building City-Based Forces

Although we are dealing with a single people and a culturally unified Sumerian Empire, there were notable tactical and military equipment differences between one city-state and another.

Each section highlights these unique traits as they relate to their respective cities. It’s important to note that some unit types — such as war carts and skirmishers — are considered “generic” and can be shared across different armies. Overall, most components are interchangeable, but it is recommended to preserve the core structure of each army according to the distinctive style and characteristics of its city of origin.

Some cities have only a few specific sets, but these are enough to represent the distinctive traits of their faction. To complete the corresponding army, you can include generic troops and sets shared with other factions. Non-Sumerian units can be used as allies or enemies, depending on the scenario.
