Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta (1417-1468), the celebrated Italian condottiero, lord of Rimini, Fano, and Senigallia. Considered one of the most audacious captains of the 15th century, Malatesta was known for his extraordinary military skill, wielding power from a very young age and commanding pontifical and Venetian armies.
